FLAURA ASHLEY NUNN
MASTERS-LEVEL TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA INSTRUCTOR

ASHLEY is a yoga & meditation instructor, trauma-informed yoga therapist, retreat facilitator and ceremonial leader. She has worked extensively as a healing arts professional in clinical settings, hospitals and studios for almost two decades.

Ashley began meditating daily after her first Vipassana course in 1999. She received her first yoga teacher training in early 2004 from Larry Schultz in San Francisco, the same year she received a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Notre Dame de Namur. She later completed Yoga Farm Ithaca's Kundalini Warrior Teacher Training. Ashley began leading meditation retreats in 2011. In 2014, she founded a meditation and mindfulness program for patients, staff and visitors that is still in existence today, at Johns Hopkins Medicine - Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC.

A lifelong animal lover and equestrian, Ashley is also a trained equine-assisted therapist. She sees the pull towards spiritual practices as born from a desire to come home to some part of ourselves we have lost or from which we feel separated. She is deeply honored to support clients and students in coming home to their hearts, stepping into their birthright, aligning with their deepest purpose and finding true peace and happiness in the present moment while living here on earth. In addition to her offerings at Two Bunch Palms, Ashley teaches at Cedar + Sage Wellness Studio in Yucca Valley and sees clients privately. She also leads destination yoga and meditation retreats around the world.
